Course Essentials
You will need:

Your clicker*Paid Link is essential for the completion of this course.
This event marker will help your dog to know exactly when he’s got something right!
Training Treats
We recommend you use a portion of your dog’s daily allowance of kibble.
It’s a great way to motivate your dog, and to save on shelling out for additional treats!
Mat
The mat is an important part of your training kit during this course, but you don’t need to spend a fortune.
You can use a mat designed for yoga*Paid Link, like this one:
But you can equally use an old towel, rug or door mat that you had at home anyway. Just make sure it doesn’t skid around on the floor when your pup jumps onto it!
Harness and Leash
A well fitting, durable harness will last your pup for years, and be beneficial well beyond the time you’ve finished this course.
We love our demo-dog Hetty’s Ruffwear harness*Paid Link, but there are lots of other models available. Just choose one that has a back attachment and doesn’t impede the movement of their front legs.
The leash needs to have a standard clip to go onto the harness, and stay away from chain as the noise is distracting.
Canvas or leather are better suited to this course.
Ready To Go!
That’s it, you’re ready to get training!
